How to Reserve Resources

Students can now use the lab resources tool to reserve conference rooms as per their availability.

Please follow the steps below to reserve resources.

Please note the following before making any reservations:

  • Only project team leaders can make reservations. To be added as a user to this tool, contact utdesign@utdallas.edu.
  • Reservations can be made 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday during the current academic session
  • Users can add/modify/delete their own reservations
  • Single occurrence/recurring reservations are available
  • No more than 3 hours in a week can be scheduled per person
  • No more than 2 hours at a time
  • One reservation per day

Step 1: Log in using your Net-ID and password.

Step 2: Once logged in, you will land on your dashboard. This is an overview of important announcements, any existing reservations, and available resources.

Step 3: Click on the “Schedule” tab and select “Bookings.” This will take you to the Booking screen as shown below. Select the room and the duration of your requirement. The tool will prevent overlapping reservations.

Step 4: Post selection on the bookings screen; the tool will take you to the reservation request screen. It is important to fill out the required details. Please make sure that you use your project number as the “Title of Reservation,” as shown below. Once all details are filled in, select “Create” to book the resource.
